SCoPE: Professional Learning Series: Resources

Education for a Digital World - Edition 2.0 Webinar Series

Call for participation mailed January 27, 2010

We have organized an online webinar series based on the book content. We'd really love to have you participate. This webinar series is in partnership with Steve Hargadon, manager of Learn Central. Steve is a good partner because his Learn Central community has a global audience, global partnerships and funding. Steve is also contributing a chapter to the book.

We are calling the webinar series: Education for a Digital World - Edition 2.0 Webinar Series
This is an invitation to all contributors to participate. These would be 20 minute overviews of your topic, and can either be a formal presentation, if you have one, or interview-style, followed by 5 - 10 minutes of Q & A from the live audience.

We've tentatively scheduled five Wednesdays in March and April to launch the series, and have chosen a time that we think will be internationally-friendly to encourage the broadest range of participation .... [That is] between 12 and 1pm PST. The sessions will also be recorded for later viewing.

We hope you'll consider signing up to do a session. To do so, go to http://doodle.com/ep2a7vwpium39mn9

Choose a day and time, and then we’ll send you more detailed information on how to connect. We’ll ask you for preferred bio and photo links in order to create the event page, and you can tell us if you want to present or be interviewed. The sessions will be held in Elluminate, but you can also participate by phone if preferred.
